One day last month, we hit up a pumpkin patch in Idaho Falls. The kids had fun, Ryan thought it was pointless. My husband is always a grump when it comes to holiday things, unless they involve food. i.e. no phantom ghost, no carving pumpkins, picking pumpkins is a bore . . . etc . I think you may have figured out his personality by his last post, that was definitely Ryan. I learn to laugh at him, I think he does it to bug me, because I know he actually loves to do all these things, he just has to act cool and pretend not to, something about "Man Law" he always tells me.

My husband has the same attitude about holidays. Guys! Don't they know this stuff is the frosting of being a mother? We never even made it to the pumpkin patch this year. I had to pick one out of all nearly gone ones in the walmart bin. Your family looks great! So happy and healthy and beautiful!
Don't worry Brit I dragged my husband to one this year too. We went with some friends of ours who have two girls, but ended up with a pumpkin ourselves. He complained the whole time before we got there about how pointless it was and then ended up having a good time. Can you tell our husbands are brothers?
It's true...pictures and all the holiday stuff is definitely for the moms. It seems like the guys always end up enjoying themselves though when they get out there! I love that you guys did the pumpkin patch!!! I can't wait for you guys to come out for a week this month!
Hey congrats on the job in Salt Lake! That's great! When is the big move going to happen?
I am so excited to see the kids...oh and you guys too:) It's going to be so nice to have you guys a little closer (even if it's Utah!) Also, ditto with the Pumpkin Patch, Eddy was not very excited to go at all...this from a guy who won't go to Disneyland either. You and I will just have to start taking the kids fun places and leave the boys at home.
