Here are a few things that we have been up to . . . . . . . . .
A few weekends back we went to Gardner Village to see a petting zoo there. Ashton loves any kind of animal, and he loved seeing all of them. In fact he was usually looking at all the animals, so we did not get many pictures of his face. Annika had a rough ride over there, so she was told to stay on the stroller, and would not be able to participate in the activity that day. However, staying on the stroller ended up being too traumatic, since the pigs and goats decided they wanted to attack it and lick her feet. So, she ended up screaming and crying and ended up waiting in the van for Ashton to finish looking around. He loved every minute of it.
We have also been spending as much time outside as possible. However, we have had 70 degree temperatures one day, and then snow the next. So, you have to take advantage of somewhat warm days whenever possible. These are pics of our trips to the parks around our house. We sometimes pack picnics (with oranges as you can tell from the picture with Ashton), ride our bikes, walk, whatever, but we always have fun!
We also went and saw "Horton Hears A Who" last weekend. I thought it was a cute movie, and Ashton actually did pretty good sitting through it. I was laughing at it, and Annika liked all the silly people in it.
Anyone who knows me, know that when I was a little girl, I loved my easy bake oven. I got one, I think when I was pregnant with Annika as a gift, and she loves it. We looked up recipes online, and we actually found some that were decent. These are pics of our cooking experience.

Riley always wants to use her easy bake oven and I talk her out of it. It's such a pain to me. You're a much better mom! You are quite the baker. I need the recipe to PB swirl bars, I've seemed to have lost it.
Trace has a bug maker that is kinda like and easy bake but you cant eat the bugs when they come out.. but same concept. I would love one! Ashton is so dang cute! i want to squeeze him!
How fun. Still love her haircut. We like spending time at the zoo. Ryder doesn't look at many animals, just mostly likes to walk around.
I have never let my girls get an easy bake oven. I tell them the mixes are too expensive and we can cook the same things in bigger volumes in the real oven. You are a nice mom to let your daughter use one. keep up the good work.
